BM2086 is a heavy sound insulation mat with an aluminum topcoat and an absorbent spacer, engineered for pipe insulation and noise control on metal, wood, plastic, and steel panels. The spacer-backed design delivers strong transmission loss, especially from 400 Hz and above, and the mat can be secured with wire, tape, or straps. Ideal for ventilation ducts, machinery enclosures, and industrial cabinets, as well as building services and transport applications. BM2086 complies with EN 13501-1 B-s2,d0 and operates from −20 °C to +75 °C for dependable performance in demanding environments.
