Soundtex is a lightweight acoustic nonwoven designed to be heat-bonded to the inside of perforated steel, aluminium or wooden cassettes. It improves sound absorption, protects against fibres and dust, and delivers a clean, uniform finish for modern offices, public buildings, airports, railway stations and communication centres.

Supplied on wide rolls for efficient installation: 0.20 mm thickness, 63 g/m² weight, 1800 mm width, 250 m length; colours black, grey, white. The integrated hot-melt adhesive is activated by ironing/heating at approx. 100–150 °C for 2–5 seconds. Fire performance: B1 (DIN 4102/Part 1); in combination with a metal cassette, A1 (EN 13501-1 possible).
